What to expect on 2 Hour Eco Tours of Anna Maria Island
You may also see a few sea turtles, manatee, osprey, pelicans and more in their natural habitats! Our licensed master captains are resident experts and are extremely skilled at providing you with the best possible views of the glorious wildlife we enjoy in and around North Sarasota Bay.
PLEASE NOTE:
The Coast Guard limits private tours to six passengers unless you rent a boat and hire the captain separately. If you have a larger group or just want more elbow room, let us know. We have larger boats in our network and may be able to accommodate your group.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks as long as you do not litter. We suggest that you bring a small-medium size soft sided cooler with ice. Bring anything you would like to eat or drink. Adult beverages are fine.

Snapshot of the Captain
Captain Joey Sweet is a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran and licensed Master Captain. He grew up locally and enjoys teaching about this beautiful area’s marine life and rich, colorful history. Some of his diverse maritime experience include working on large yachts for various clients, where he served as both captain and crew. He also spent over a decade working alongside marine biologists with the Sarasota Explorers at Mote Aquarium as captain on their eco-tours.
He has helped several other tour companies develop their eco excursion experiences, including training other captains. Captain Joey is a high
